Our Story
Established in 2014, Clique started its first location at Parklane Shopping Mall with a simple concept in mind, which is to provide top quality gaming and comfort at the highest levels to its customers.
Started by founder Brighton Yap, with 15 years of experience in operating multiple previous esports cafe chains like Spot On Gaming, Evolution Square, Evolution Basement and Gamestop alternative decided to open Clique Gaming.
Clique’s unique strategy of providing equipment of the highest level with various innovations which include remote tech support, daily updates of software and hardware and game support from game publishers gave it an advantage over major competitors.
Since then, Clique has dominated the Esports cafe scene, opening locations all over Singapore. The company has since pivoted to include Cuesports and hotels in its portfolio. The Cuesports segment is Clique Billiards and the current 2 hotels under Clique’s portfolio are known as The Loft Esports Hotel which operates 2 hotels in Bugis Village and Cuppage Terrace. The company also played host for the ASEAN Esports teams that participated in the international Hyperplay event which is the first international esports held at the indoor stadium in Singapore in 2017. In 2018, Clique hosted the Call of Duty Launch party for Blizzard Entertainment at its Flagship Parklane store. Clique has also hosted many national events in collaboration with organizations that include Asiasoft, Garena, KPMG, SAFRA, Papaya Play and Playpark Asia. Clique’s hardware partners include MSI, Razer, Armaggeddon, Asus, Zotac and Techware.
Clique believes that the customer’s experience is key and will always be providing new innovations to improve its services and technology. The company’s goal is to be the leading Esports Cafe chain in the world and we aim to open locations all around the world.
